Challenge 33 - Anything Goes and some news

Hello everyone!  It is with great sadness that we have to inform you that this is the last challenge at Waltzingmouse Fanatics.  Whilst we've loved setting the challenges each fortnight, we just don't seem to have been able to build the numbers of players up, so feel we can't continue with all that goes into running a challenge with the low number of players we get each time.    Just remember, it's only the challenge that's closing and not the store!!!  Whilst numbers have been low we have had some wonderful regular supporters and we would like to thank everyone for playing along with us.  We've decided that as it's the last challenge we'll go with a theme that everyone likes:

ANYTHING WALTZINGMOUSE GOES!!

For this last challenge, Claire Brennan, designer and owner of Waltzingmouse Stamps, is offering a £20 prize voucher for the winner of this challenge.  The voucher is valid to March 2015 and is for use at the Waltzingmouse Stamps online store.  In order to be considered for the winner or top three you must use at least ONE Waltzingmouse stamp, sentiment or digi on your project.

Here's some inspiration from the team:

You can upload your submissions until Thursday 1st January and we will announce the prize winner and top 3 on Saturday 3rd January 2015.

We'd like to wish you all a very
Merry Christmas
and a
Happy New Year

Challenge 31 - Flowers

Good morning!  Now that the evenings are getting darker and it's getting colder, we thought we shake things up a bit and for our theme this time we've gone with:

FLOWERS

WMSFC#31 - photo by Deborah Frings - Deborah's Gems

There are spring flowers in the graphic, but you could go for Christmas flowers or even funky flowers, we just want to see your projects with flowers.

Sorry to keep on about this, I need to remind everyone that you MUST use at least one Waltzingmouse stamp, sentiment or digi on your project.  Sadly, we will remove any submission that does not meet the rules.

Here's some inspiration from the team:

Challenge 30 - Colours

Hello and Good Morning!
Looks like you didn't much like our Halloween theme challenge!!!
Nevermind, it's time for our new challenge, and hopefully you'll like this one much more.
For the next couple of weeks we've got some colours for you to play with.

WMSFC#30 - photo by Deborah Frings - Deborah's Gems

The colours in the photo are teal, lilac, bright pink, lime green and purple.
You must use at least THREE of the colours.
You can use neutrals of white, black, grey, kraft and cream.
I know the graphic is a Christmas bauble, but you don't have to make a Christmas card - in fact you can make any theme you like!

Once again, I'd like to remind everyone that you MUST use at least one Waltzingmouse stamp, sentiment or digi on your project.  Sadly, we will remove any submission that does not meet the rules.

Challenge 29 - Halloween

Hello all!  It was great to see so many beautiful submissions to our last challenge.  And now, it's time for our new challenge.  Our theme for the next couple of weeks, and it won't be a surprise, is:

HALLOWEEN

WMSFC#29 - photo by Jonathan Frings - JSF Photography

Do you like the challenge graphic?  Last year Jonathan and I (Deborah) went to a pumpkin carving party and Jonathan took this photo featuring some of the finished pumpkins!  It was such fun.

We know that Halloween is not celebrated so much in the UK, but it's huge in the States, and Claire has some of the most fabulous Halloween stamps.  This is your opportunity to get them out and play - go vintage, go scary, go fun, go cute - just go HALLOWEEN!!!  Don't forget you can make a card, tag, 3D project, scrapbook layout - it's up to you.

Once again, I'd like to remind everyone that you MUST use at least one Waltzingmouse stamp, sentiment or digi on your project.  Sadly, we will remove any submission that does not meet the rules.

Here are some inspiration cards from the team, you can find full details on our blogs:

Challenge 28 - Anything Goes & Some News ....

Good morning all!  Before we get to the challenge details, we have some news to share.  Tara and I would like you to welcome Kathy (Cherwell Leys Alpacs) to the design team.  Like us, Kathy is a big Waltzingmouse Stamps fan, and she has been a regular player since the start of the challenge - often producing two or three cards at a time.  So do drop by and say Hi!  Tara sends her apologies for not getting round and commenting so much, she is still really busy at work.

Today is World Card Making Day - a day to spend at our favourite hobby - crafting and creating cards and objects of beauty.  We decided that we'd keep it easy - the theme is:

ANYTHING GOES

A quick reminder for all players - please remember this is a Waltzingmouse challenge, so you MUST include at least one stamp, sentiment or digi.

Happy Birthday to us!

Well - can you believe it - Waltzingmouse Fanatics Challenge is One Year Old TODAY!   That has to be cause for celebration right?

So let's start by celebrating our winners from the previous sketch challenge - our No1 Fan this time round was Anya with this bright and cheery thank you card.

Our runners up this time around were Elizabeta - we loved the wonderful background stamping she did, and Claire - who could have failed to love all the texture and richness the head mouse herself brought to our sketch?

Do take your winners badges from our winners page ladies!

CHALLENGE 26

So, time for our new challenge - we thought we'd make it easy with a theme of Birthday/Anniversary in honour of it being our 1st Anniversary Challenge.   So basically anything on that theme using Waltzingmouse product goes - easy peasy!!!!
